A century-old house,
open since 1998.
Casa do Mogadouro grew out of a 19th-century farmhouse and has welcomed guests since 1998. The granite walls, the fireplaces and the old furniture stayed; the pool, the tennis court and the games room came later. The main house has six bedrooms upstairs and the living rooms on the ground floor; the old caretaker's house adds two more bedrooms and a shop of regional produce in the former wine cellar. The wood oven still bakes bread and roasts the group meals. Five kilometres away lies Linhares da Beira, one of Portugal's Historical Villages.
